🎨 More Control Over the Look of Your Book

Customize Header Link Colors

You can now choose custom colors for the header links in your book themes. This gives you more visual control and helps ensure your design matches your institution’s branding or your book’s tone.

Improved Font Options for Accessibility

The Atkinson Hyperlegible Next font—designed for optimal readability—is now available in both the Shapeshifter theme and exports. A great option for accessibility-focused projects.

📤 Faster, Smoother Book Exports

Background Export Enhancements

We have refactored the export process to make it more efficient and reliable in order to support printing of H5P static views as part of a collaboration with BCcampus. It now runs as a background process without the need to stay on the page.

Accessibility Fixes for Export Buttons

Buttons and modals in the export process are now more accessible for screen reader users, making the workflow better for everyone.

🧩 Improvements to LMS Integration

Streamlined Assignment Sorting

Assignments in LMS-linked books now display in a more logical order, helping instructors and students stay organized.

Improved Deep Linking UI

We cleaned up the interface for linking content into your LMS, making it easier to navigate and select the right items.

Accessibility Fixes in Pressbooks Results

We’ve improved keyboard navigation and screen reader support for students interacting with H5P activities that report grades to the LMS.
