Feature Highlight: Content Toolkit

We’ve released an updated version of our Content Toolkit that makes it easier to monitor and improve the quality of your books at scale.

What’s new:

A new stats page to give you a clearer overview of scan results
Improved performance for faster scans across large books and networks
Failure reporting, so our team can quickly identify any issues and better support users

This update makes the tools more useful for both day-to-day editing and large-scale quality assurance workflows.

We’ve made meaningful performance improvements across key parts of the platform:

Pressbooks Book
- General performance enhancements
- Improvements to H5P listing page generation
- Cleaner, more consistent translations
- Improved accessibility focus states (e.g., clearer focus ring on search fields)
Pressbooks LTI
- Backend optimizations that improve stability and responsiveness
- More efficient handling of sessions and network settings

Together, these updates make authoring and LMS-integrated experiences faster and more reliable for both instructors and students.

We’ve added support for single dollar sign ($) delimiters for MathJax expressions.

This gives authors more flexibility when writing math content, especially when importing from other tools or workflows that already use this format.
