We’ve just released three new themes perfect for juvenile fiction: Cleary, for younger readers; Sabatini, ideal for tales of adventure (and possibly pirates); and Irving, for spooky stories, horror and young adult fiction.

2. Easier image editing
New image editing features enable you to edit your media files from within the Pressbooks interface, including cropping, rotating and more! Check out our guide chapter on how to use the new tools.

3. New guide chapters: How to get your book into bookstores and more
We’ve got a pile of new Pressbooks User Guide chapters. Including: how to get your book from Pressbooks into stores, how to customize your book design and oodles more. Find links to new chapters here. (Thanks to Liz for the hard work on these!).

4. Successfully self-published: Pressbooks author Inglath Cooper
Inglath Cooper is living the dream as a full-time writer with 19 titles published on Amazon. And she used Pressbooks to self-publish eight of those. Learn how she did it.

5. Pressbooks in the news
The BitLit blog gave a shout out to Pressbooks, touting its ease in converting ebook files and creating print-on-demand books. The BitLit app is a cool concept itself, giving you ebook versions of books you already own in print for free or a nominal cost.

6. Featured partner: Pubslush

The platform is a way for authors, publishers and other literary initiatives to raise funds, collect pre-orders and market their books pre-publication. Join the Pubslush community today.

7. Survey and discounted PDF exports (25% or 35% savings!)
