Pressbooks in your language: can you help?

We finally got ourselves set up on the translation/localization platform Transifex which allows us to centralize & smooth out the translation process to Pressbooks.

Existing languages, in various degrees of completion, are: English, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Estonian, Spanish, French, Chinese (Taiwan), Japanese, Danish, Galician, Russian, Khmer, Basque, Dutch, Korean, Romanian.

These translations will be pushed out to our GitHub repo on a regular basis.

Check out our page on Transifex, and:

  • add a new language translation
  • improve an existing translation
  • complete an existing translation

Or reach out and get in touch if you have questions:
